This piece was inspired by the golden landscapes that transform in the fall. Larch or Tamaracks are unique. They beat to their own tune because they are the only needle-bearing tree that turns color with the seasons. I love the glow of the changing Larch. It's as if someone has taken a giant paintbrush and dabbled the mountains with golden hues. I like to think of that someone as honey bees. Bees are busy and unique such as the Larch. I imagine the bees doing their waggle dance through the forests, casting their honey love with gentle kisses of sweetness while leaving honey kissed Larch for all to admire. The piece includes GoldenRod, Elderberries, Blanket Flowers, and Prairie Aster. Bees are magical and everywhere like the Larch. I’ve painted eight honey bees in the piece. Can you find them all?
