This piece was inspired by the intense Northern Lights dancing across our Montana skies more and more.  They genuinely feel like a party. I have stayed up late, sometimes until the early morning, waiting for and admiring the heavenly show.  The moon lights up as a disco ball, and the owls dance away under the party-filled night skies.  A true Hootenanny.  I also added Red Osier Dogwood, my favorite winter plant.  I love the bright red stalks that always stand out amongst the white winter colors.  It’s truly time to party when the skies lead the dance.
