This piece was inspired by my love of one of the best mountainous lakes in Montana.  This is one of my favorite places on the planet.  I love the shallow waters, and that big boats can’t go there.  I love taking my paddle board and dogs and heading out on the peaceful waters.  I have had some of the most magical moments on this lake.  It feels surreal with the crystal clear waters and reflection of the skies mimicking each other.  The water is so clear that you can see all the aquatic plants and animals.  Slowly paddling there with my dogs, sitting calmly on my board, makes me feel at complete peace.   Huckleberries and Bear Grass are painted in the piece, representing some of the things that make my heart at peace.
